Hi, I'm Komal

I’m an interviewer, resilience educator, and impact investor.

I’ve also had to make a lot of pivots and overcome a lot of obstacles over the course of my career and life.

In the last four years I…

  • premiered my documentary film at the Obama White House and was named to Oprah’s #SuperSoul100 and survived an unexpected cancer diagnosis at 26.
  • created the business of my dreams educating others about their own resilience and potential on my weekly talk show after leaving my former start-up where I was gaslit by my cofounder.
  • learned to prioritize my well being and needs and made my biggest dream come true by interviewing Michelle Obama on-stage in front of 8,000 people.

Through it all, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is this: without the right habits, supports, systems, and routines in place, we all struggle to thrive and build the careers and lives we dream of.

What does it mean to be well and thrive? In this module, you’ll dive into two fundamental aspects of wellness: psychological and physical wellness.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Face old coping mechanisms that no longer serve you and create a plan to implement daily, weekly, and monthly structures that work for you.
  • Create long-lasting healthy habits so you can break-up with toxic hustle culture once and for all.
  • Take consistent action and stay accountable to yourself so you can keep the momentum going, even when life gets hectic.

Week 2:

Want to make major moves in your career and land somewhere that nourishes you financially and is values aligned? In this module, you’ll discover how to show up as your best self at work, without sacrificing your wellbeing in the process.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Quickly move past frustrating situations so you can go right into problem-solving mode and start building constructive solutions.
  • Overcome limiting beliefs about work so you can finally get that raise, promotion, client, or any other audacious goal that you’ve set for yourself.
  • Set better boundaries so you can work in a way that sustains you, rather than exhausts you.

Week 3:

How can you create a community that truly elevates your life and that upholds your values? In this module, you’ll explore the importance of intentionally building your own thriving community and receive actionable tips to help you get there.

What is The Next Right Step?

The Next Right Step is a five-week masterclass on resilience and leadership. Participants will get to learn from world-renowned experts, access a community of their peers from around the globe, and create a holistic blueprint for their next steps in life.

What does my purchase include?

Your ticket includes four exclusive live interviews and Q&As between Komal and industry experts, four mastermind-style group trainings, a three hour workshop with Komal, a private digital community, two Q&A group coaching sessions with Komal, and the Next Right Step 5-part digital workbook. Ticket holders will also receive lifetime access to all event recordings and the private digital community.

What will the programming entail?

For four weeks, attendees are expected to attend one online session made up of two parts:

  • a live interview and Q&A between Komal Minhas and an industry expert focused around the Roots of Resilience (work, wellness, impact + identity, community, and self-efficacy)
  • and a group workshop where attendees will gain actionable tips on how to put what they’ve learned into practice.

In the fifth week, attendees will work with Komal to complete the digital workbook and implement the scheduling system so they can put their learnings into action right away.

What equipment do I need to participate?

All you need is an internet connection and access to a computer to participate in The Next Right Step.

How do I access the interviews, workshops, and private community?

This is an online masterclass series that will kick off on Wednesday July 29th. Once you register, you will receive emails with instructions on how to attend the live interviews and workshops, log in to the private digital community, and access additional learning materials.

What kind of results can I expect?

That’s up to you. The results you’re looking for are directly related to how much effort you put in. I created the Next Right Step to help people build resilience so they can better adapt and move past major stresses and traumatic events in their life, but I can only give you the tools. It’s up to you to show up to each event, give it your all, and actively implement the teachings into your daily life.

What I can promise is an enriching 13+ hours of online interviews and workshops and offline work that can inspire impactful action in your life when fully completed.

Is my ticket refundable?

Your ticket is non-refundable. However, if you would like to transfer your ticket to someone else, please email us at info@komal.com and let us know at least 24 hours prior to the first event.

What if I can’t attend the whole series, show up late, or need to leave an event early?

I understand that sometimes life happens and you won’t be able to attend every single event. If you’re not able to join us live, you can watch the replay that will be available 24 hours after the live event for you to watch at your convenience. If you need to leave an event early, all I ask is that you exit the online space respectfully. To ensure the best possible experience for all attendees, there will be a five minute grace period at the beginning of each event to allow everybody to get settled in.
